Cracklin' Rosie of Pine Bush was born on July 14, 1997 at Pinebush Kennels in Albany New York. AKC Rottweiler Registered WP811428/04 and Gregory J, Miller was her breeder. Segal's Swee'pea of Pinebush was her mother, and dad was Pinebush's Dream Machine. Her grandparents were Benno Vom Kloster Kamp (German), Lowenhar's Cory's Girl, Champion Von Hottensteins Hubabubba, and Pinebush's Eika Vom Wappen. Notably, her Great Grandfather was Reginald Von Hackett of Pine Bush. In her grandfather's generation one champion, and then in her great-grandfathers generation 3 of the 8 were Champions, and in her great-great Grandfathers generation 5 of 16 were Champions.

Rosie's Great Grandfather Reggie passed away from old age at age 15, her Grandmother Eika died at age 13. It was quite a surprise when Rosie passed away June 14, 2007 at 9 years and 11 months of age.

Between 2002 and 2003 Rosie required both rear leg's ACLs to be replaced at the Dallas Veterinary Hospital back-to-back. She regained about 95% of her stability and strength following the surgery. In March 2005 she was bitten by a non-venonmous snake on Cedar Creek Lakeshore. She developed an abcess that set Diabetes loose in her body. It was challenging to control her sugar levels, and in May she became blind from Diabeties induced Glacoma. In order to get her vision back, we had to control the Glucose Curve and lower her blood pressure, This took several Vets to accomplish, and by Christmas Eve Rosie got new eyes for Chbristmas 2006.

Her vision and stability seemed solid through early May 2007, then some limping was observed, and torn muscles or tendons were thought to be the problem. On May 22 Rosie was diagnosed to have Osteosarcoma with a pathologic break in the left shoulder blade, not splintable and withe aggressive behavoir of this cancer and her age and condition the election to give her love and pain medication was made. On June 13, 2007 the cancer had spread to her mandible and she was unable to eat or drink without cointinual assistance. The Vet concluded that the time had come, and we took Rosie home ... comforted her, gave her the pain medicene, and in the morning it was obvious we could do no more.

Rosie went to sleep and passed into God's place at 1:35PM on Thursday, June 14, 2007.
